Easy Star Allstars

Out in here in Los Angeles for most of January, primarily for NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) in Anaheim, Southern California. It’s thee big music industry event in the States that evreyone attends.

I’m out here promoting 2 Right Productions but I’ve also been doing some rockin’ out too. I recently did an interview for the very new online mag, Rock World Magazine as a tour manager in their feature ‘I’m with the band’ and it was Rock World Magazines Creative Director, in association with Dean Guitars, who hooked me up with a NAMM pass and got me guest listed for some very Rock shows.

Megadeath, with the very entertaining (ahem) Hell Yeah supporting, old skool rockers Cheap Trick, a private rehearsal session for 5 people with Hollywood rockers, The Dreaming but my personal favorite, Bonzo - The Groove Remains the Same. This was a follow up to the very successful John Bonham tribute gig in September last year.

This is the best Jimmy Page and Robert Plant tribute act I’ve ever heard, with a very impressive John Paul Jones-a-like on bass who is actually in a band with Jason Bonham - The Jason Bonham Experience. They do the Led Zep back catalogue with a different famous drummer on every track. Drummers from bands including Black Sabbath, ACDC, Guns ‘n’ Roses, Dio, Slayer, Foreigner, Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more.

It was the fact that I was so impressed with this show and that I was hangin’ out RW Mags press team that led to the suggestion of me writing an article for Rock World Magazine so tomorrow night I am going to a CIRQUE BERZERK show as a reporter with one of their photographers. it’s not all rock in Rock World but it’s all rokkin’ !
